Residential Program

Throughout this long-term program, young mothers learn the skills necessary to become healthy, productive, and self-reliant young women. During their time with Holy Ground, our young families live in their own, modestly furnished, safe apartments, so that they will be equipped to live independently once they graduate from our program. While in residence, they benefit from transformative wraparound services. They are expected to work, attend school, and contribute toward their expenses. The amount for which each mom is responsible increases over the years as her earnings increase, until she has shown that she is able to maintain herself. As our young mothers progress through the program, they model these healthy behaviors for their children – an important step toward generational change.
