Amazon Smile

For a simple way to donate money to a charity of your choice, use ‘Amazon Smile.’ One half of 1% of all your Amazon purchase dollars goes to your favorite charity with no cost to you. If you spend $500 a month on Amazon products, $2.50 a month goes to the charity of your choice. It doesn’t seem like much, but if 50 people ‘donate’ to just one charity, that could mean $125 a month to that charity (or more if you spend more on Amazon products).

All you have to do is go to:

Smile.Amazon.Com and put in your Amazon ID (usually your email address) and your Amazon password. The first time you sign in it will ask you what charity you want to designate. Your choice may be Holy Ground Shelter for Homeless (Riveria Beach).

After signing in, save that website as a favorite place or bookmark. Click on that site (smile.amazon.com) every time you sign on to Amazon. Nothing else changes (the website itself, your account, your payment method, your Amazon notifications). You will know you are on the correct site, because every time you sign in, you will see in the center of the screen, below the Search Box, “Supporting Holy Ground Shelter for Homeless.”

Encourage your friends and family to also sign up for Amazon Smile and see how much good you can do for others.

Items and Services

Donations of practical items or services for our clients are always welcome including donations of food, diapers, furniture and gently used baby and maternity clothing. See our “Wish List” for more ideas.

If you have items or services you think we might be able to use, please contact us (561-355-5040; homeandhope@holygroundpbc.org).  We are committed to being good stewards of the time, talent and treasure offered to us and so we will let you know if, for some reason, we are not in a position to put your gift to good use.

We thank you in advance for your contributions which are so critical in providing a nurturing and positive environment for homeless pregnant and parenting teens.
